A glitch that forces unskippable adverts into YouTube TV’s recorded programming appears to have reappeared.
A number of users on YouTube TV’s Reddit thread have complained that series and movies they’ve recorded to their library are being served up as video on demand — complete with adverts they can’t skip.

YouTube TV allows viewers to record content on a cloud DVR by naming their favorite shows. People who watch a tape can view and fast forward through the advertisements. However, accessing a show on demand that you had not previously attempted to record will serve up a new series of advertising that you must suffer through.

Users in the thread also reported playback difficulties.
It’s unknown how prevalent this issue is, although a similar issue surfaced in July. At the time, YouTube TV stated that it was investigating the matter.
