J. Cole is willing to assist Colin Kaepernick in his bid to make the New York Jets practice squad. Cole posted a letter from Kaep to Jets General Manager Joe Douglas on Instagram.
“I asked Colin @kaepernick7 if I could share this letter with the rest of the world,” he said. Cole described him as “reluctant.” “My point was that I believe the public and all organizations should be aware of how hard he works and how much he still wants to play.” And has always done so. Finally, he decided to allow me.”

In the letter, Kaepernick explained how his skills could help the Jets’ defense prepare for future games against mobile quarterbacks such as Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, and Jalen Hurts. Kaep also indicated that he was not seeking to undermine Zach Wilson, the current starting quarterback.
