Cindy Crawford Recalls Her Oprah Winfrey Interview, Saying, "That Was Not Okay"

Cindy Crawford recalled about an unpleasant interview with Oprah Winfrey in 1986.

The 57-year-old addressed Oprah’s 1986 comments on her slim form in her new Apple TV+ docuseries The Super Models. Cindy was only 20 years old at the time, and she now describes Oprah’s earlier remarks as “not okay.”

Cindy was introduced to the public in the 1986 television interview alongside her Elite Model Management representative John Casablancas.

“Did she have this body her entire life?” “Just a moment, stand up,” Oprah urged at the time, as the model stood up to show off her physique. “Now this is what I call a body,” continued Oprah.

“When you look at it today, when Oprah says, ‘Stand up and show me your body,’ it makes sense.” ‘Show us why you deserve to be here,'” “In the moment, I didn’t recognize it; only when I look back at it am I like, ‘Oh my gosh, that was so not okay, really,” Cindy remarked. Particularly from Oprah.”

The Fair Game actress went on to say that she felt “like a chattel or a child: seen but not heard.”
