Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden has shown his support for Ye. Gulden claimed in an interview that he does not believe Kanye West is a nasty person.
“And then, as a creative person, he did some statements that weren’t that good,” Gulden explained. “As a result, Adi breached the contract and withdrew the product.” Unfortunately, I don’t believe he meant what he said, and I don’t believe he’s a nasty person; it simply came off that way.
“That meant we were out of business.” One of the most successful collaborations in history, to put it mildly. However, when working with third parties, this is possible. It’s all a part of the game.”

Adidas claims $437 million in income from the first distribution of remaining Yeezy sneakers from their canceled partnership with Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. The first run of sneakers went on sale online in June and quickly sold out. On Wednesday, the second run began to sell.
The selling of the sneakers was part of their efforts to appropriately deplete their inventory. “We will continue to carefully sell off more of the existing Yeezy inventory,” CEO Bojrn Gulden remarked after the first launch.
Adidas has also announced a donation of more than ten million euros to organizations such as the Anti-Defamation League, the Philonise and Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change, and Robert Kraft’s Foundation to Combat Antisemitism.
