SpaceX successfully launched 22 Starlink satellites from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
The satellites were launched from Complex 40 of the station on Friday at 11:12 p.m. EDT.
The first stage rocket separated from the remainder of the spaceship and landed in the Atlantic Ocean on the drone ship A Shortfall of Gravitas 8 minutes and 25 seconds after launch.

The Falcon 9 booster used in Friday’s launch had previously flown on six missions, including three earlier Starlink missions, as well as Intelsat IS-40e, CRS-26, and OneWeb Launch 16.
The launch on Friday increases the total number of SpaceX missions in 2023 to 63, the majority of which have been Starlink missions.
It was supposed to be part of a pair of launches on late Friday and early Saturday, but the SILENTBARKER/NROL-107 mission for the Space Force’s National Reconnaissance Office, which was originally slated for Saturday morning, was moved back to Sunday.
An Atlas V rocket will launch that United Launch Alliance mission.

A SpaceX Starship spaceship has been connected to the top of a Falcon Heavy rocket stage in the meanwhile. Elon Musk, the company’s creator, stated that SpaceX is seeking authorisation from the Federal Aviation Administration to proceed with the launch.
The Starship’s first test flight in April ended in disaster when it failed to separate from the first stage of the Falcon Heavy rocket carrying it and exploded.
The FAA declared on Friday that it had concluded its investigation into the failed Starship flight and that SpaceX would need to conduct “63 corrective actions” before proceeding with the next launch.
