At this point, all fans know how long we’ve had to wait for Grand Theft Auto VI.
The famous franchise’s creators, Rockstar Games, launched Grand Theft Auto V in September 2013. The game’s tenth anniversary is coming up later this month.
The time between Grand Theft Auto IV and V was only five years, so fans have been wondering when the sixth game could come out.
To be honest, we might not get GTA VI for a few more years. There hasn’t even been an official trailer for the game yet, even though all of the gameplay footage was shared last year.
Something about the game’s loading screen might be one of the smallest things that really shows how old GTA V is now.
People who play GTA V often will know all about the woman with the peace sign and the iPhone. This is the character that Lindsey Lohan sued Rockstar over because she thought it looked like her.
Well, our friends at GAMINGbible posted on Facebook that the phone the GTA character is carrying is an iPhone 4.
For those who don’t know about Apple’s new products, the iPhone 15 will be released later this year.
People rushed to the post’s comments when they realized how old GTA V is and how long we’ve been waiting for the sixth game.
“This is the longest we’ve ever had to wait for a GTA game,” one person wrote.
Another person said, “Hahaha. That’s a big deal. You have to put out GTA VI, Rockstar.”
A third joked, “By the time GTA VI comes out, Apple will have already come out with the iPhone 34.”
Fans of GTA are confused because they think they might have to pay $150 for the next game.
Dexerto says that GTA VI could cost an eye-popping $150, which is almost $100 more than its predecessor, GTA V.
Because of the price reports, GTA fans are talking about it on X, which used to be called Twitter.
Some people are happy to pay the high price, but others have said they won’t buy it.
One angry X user posted a GIF of a stressed-out Cillian Murphy and wrote, “Me trying to figure out why a f**king video game would cost $150.”
“$150?????? “At that point, you might as well sub to my OF,” said another, while a third said: “Yeah, well, rumor has it that it will cost $70, or we’re not buying.”
