The “tech bro fight of the century” has been eagerly anticipated by fans ever since Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg first hinted at it.
Having said that, the two of them have recently been debating the specifics of the altercation. Musk announced last week that the UFC will no longer be involved on Twitter/X. Evidently, Zuckerberg never gave his consent to that. He also made references to a battle occurring at the Colosseum, although it appears that may no longer be the case.

Zuck appeared on Threads today to inform his followers that he is no longer having fun. He claims that Musk has not been treating the conflict seriously and that he is tired of it. “I think we can all agree Elon isn’t serious, and it’s time to move on,” he wrote. “I proposed a genuine date. Dana White made the offer to turn this into a legitimate fundraising contest.
Elon refuses to set a date, then claims to need surgery before asking to practice in my lawn. Elon knows how to contact me if he ever wants to set up a genuine date and official event, he continues. “Anyway, it’s time to go forward. I’ll concentrate on competing against athletes who take the sport seriously.
The Meta founder has been indicating for some time that he’s tired of Elon’s shenanigans, so Zuckerberg’s post shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. Having said that, if he gives it his all, there’s still a chance that they might engage in combat. But for the time being, it appears that Zuckerberg would prefer to invest his efforts in a more advantageous rival.
