After getting 10 years in jail for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez has broken his silence.
Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, the 31-year-old rapper was given the sentence for shooting the Savage hitmaker in both feet after a party in July 2020.
Tory, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, finally spoke out about his prison term. He said that he will not apologize because he did not shoot Megan.
“I’ve never let hard times scare me, and I won’t let jail time kill me either. “I have always been innocent, and I always will be, no matter how they try to twist my words,” he wrote on Instagram on Thursday.

In a statement read in court earlier this week, he made it clear that he was only sorry “for all verbal and intimate moments I shared with the people involved.”
“In no way, shape, or form was I apologizing for the charges I’m being wrongfully convicted of,” he said. “I’m not going to apologize for something I didn’t do,” he said.
“I’ve had problems all my life, and every time it looked like I was going to lose, I won. This is just another time when I have my back against the wall, but I won’t stop fighting until I win.”
At the end of his post, Tory thanked his family, friends, and fans for their support and said, “See you soon.”
In December 2022, he was found guilty of three crimes: attack with a semiautomatic gun, having a loaded, unregistered gun in a car, and firing a gun without any care.
