Quentin Tarantino Wants Bruce Willis To Play A Minor Role In His Final Film

Quentin Tarantino is supposed to be attempting to cast Bruce Willis in a tiny role in what is expected to be his farewell film.

The 67-year-old Die Hard star was diagnosed with aphasia in March of this year, and his family announced his immediate retirement from acting due to health difficulties.

Aphasia is a condition induced by brain injury that leads in reduced cognitive processes. This can cause difficulty with speech, writing, reading, and understanding language in persons who have the medical condition.

Tarantino, on the other hand, is apparently hoping to cast Willis in his final film appearance.

According to The Daily Express, the award-winning director, who is now working on his next film The Movie Critic, would like to cast Willis in a minor role.

And this isn’t the first time the team has collaborated; they also worked together on the legendary Pulp Fiction back in the 1990s.

Now, three decades later, Tarantino appears to want to pay one more tribute to Willis.

“Quentin hasn’t approached Bruce’s family yet – and will completely bow to their wishes if they say he’s too sick,” according to the news outlet’s production source.

“If that’s the case, he intends to incorporate a brief clip from one of Bruce’s numerous previous films into the film.”

“Because of his condition, his final few films all went straight to video or streaming,” the person continued.

“Quentin wants to pay tribute to him with a quick glimpse for his legions of fans back on the big screen, where he belongs.”

The future film will be set in Southern California in the late 1970s.

According to Deadline, the next drama began ‘pre-pre-production’ in June and is ‘based on a guy who really lived, but was never particularly famous, and he used to write movie reviews for a porno rag’.

“All the other stuff was too skanky to read, but then there was this porno rag that had a really interesting movie page,” Tarantino said as a teen working pouring adult magazines into a vending machine.

“He wrote about mainstream movies and was the backup critic.” He was, in my opinion, an excellent reviewer. He was a cynic to the core. His reviews sounded like a combination between early Howard Stern and Travis Bickle as a cinema reviewer. Consider Travis’ diary entries.”

“But the porno rag critic was very, very funny,” Tarantino continued. He was quite disrespectful, you know. He swore. He used racial epithets. But his s*** was hilarious.

“He was as obnoxious as heck. He wrote as though he were 55, but he was in his early to mid-30s. He died in his late thirties.

“It wasn’t clear for a while, but after more research, I believe it was complications from alcoholism.”
