Due to memory loss, Lil Wayne has confessed that he can no longer remember the lyrics to some of his most renowned songs.

During an interview with Rolling Stone, the rapper, who has produced some of the most successful hip-hop albums in recent years, admitted that it is impossible to remember every word.

He informed the site that popular verses from ‘Tha Carter III, Tha Carter II, and Tha Carter One’ are becoming hazy.

“And that is the honest truth, my God.” “You could lie, you could ask me (about) such and such song, and I would not know what we were talking about,” he explained.

“I am not even sure if Tha Carter III was released at that time.” That is how little I know,” he added.

“I also consider it to be the curse part of the gift and the curse.”

“I believe [God] blessed me with this amazing mind, but he did not bless me with an amazing memory to remember this amazing s**t.”

The rapper’s health has deteriorated in recent years as a result of his epilepsy and recurring seizures.

Weezy has previously stated that he has had seizures since he was a child.

Due to health concerns, the rapper has had to cancel shows and reroute planes in the past.

The 40-year-old made news in 2012 after his private jet had to make an emergency stop in Louisiana on its way to Los Angeles.

The musician had suffered another seizure at the time, forcing him to begin taking medication for his ailment.

Despite his condition, he has no intention of slowing down anytime soon.

“Even if you say it, I do not think you mean stop working or making music.” “You probably mean you want to retire from everything except music,” he explained.

“When you are an artist — a true artist like myself — you are born this way. So I do not believe that true artists and pioneers ever retire. They perished while doing this.”

The ‘Look At Me Now’ rapper said in August of last year that he is now working on Tha Carter VI.

“What up, y’all, Tunechi here,” he said in a video shared on his social media. Thank you very much. [I] am nothing without you.

“I do not know if you have heard, but Carter VI is on his way!”

The release date, however, has yet to be confirmed.
