Dr. Danny Bonaduce I'm Getting Brain Surgery… Following A Serious Health Scare

Danny Bonaduce is undergoing brain surgery following a catastrophic health scare that has left him unable to walk or balance.

According to the actor and radio personality, after consulting hundreds of specialists for a mysterious condition, he was ultimately diagnosed with hydrocephalus in March… a neurological disorder characterized by a buildup of liquid in the brain.

The surgery is scheduled for Monday, with the hope that it would alleviate the symptoms.

Last April, the “Partridge Family” star was diagnosed with an unknown ailment after his wife observed his speech was slurred and he lost his ability to walk or balance. He was admitted to the hospital for five days and subjected to a battery of examinations. Doctors ruled out a stroke but were unable to make a diagnosis.

While no one knows for sure how he got in such horrible form, Danny wonders if it’s because of all the abuse he’s given his head over the years, such as taking guitars to the face and boxing Jose Canseco.

Danny claims that the surgery will drain the fluids from his brain via a shunt.

Meanwhile, Danny has been hosting his radio show from home.

Of course, Danny understands that there’s always the possibility that the surgery won’t fix everything… but he seems to be going into the operating room in the proper state of mind.
