The San Francisco 49ers’ home stadium, Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA, will host Super Bowl 60.
According to ESPN, the location will be announced at the spring owners meeting next week in Minneapolis. The decision effectively secures a spot for Super Bowl 60.
“If the Bay Area has the opportunity, we would be honored to host Super Bowl LX,” stated 49ers president Al Guido in a statement.
The Super Bowl would return to Levi’s Stadium for the first time since Super Bowl 50. It would also be the third Super Bowl to be held in the Bay Area, with Super Bowl XIX taking place at Stanford Stadium in 1985.
