Savannah Chrisley’s complaints regarding how she was treated before a recent flight with the company have been refuted by Southwest Airlines.
The Growing Up Chrisley singer, 25, posted a series of videos on her Instagram Story earlier this week detailing an event that happened as she was attempting to board a flight at the LaGuardia airport in New York. Chrisley claims that an airline employee “threw her off the flight” when she refused to check her carry-on bag despite being told to do so as she was traveling back to Tennessee.
A spokesperson for Southwest claimed in a statement that the business is “aware” of Chrisley’s footage and is “looking into the situation.”
The representative stated, “Our first reports indicate a different tale from the one from the Customer’s statement, as she came at the gate late in the boarding process and insulted our Employee after being asked to gate-check her bag. As a result, the customer’s original ticket was cancelled, and we arranged for her to catch a different flight later that day.
“Alright guys, so I officially know why everyone hates Southwest so much. I mean absolutely hates it. The worst thing in the entire world,” Chrisley said at the beginning of her initial recordings recounting the incident with Southwest.
Chrisley said, panning to a gate-bound flight attendant and saying, “This man right here… uh, bad. He instructed me to check my suitcase as I was about to board my aircraft. If it’s okay with you, I’ll take my luggage on the flight and see if I can’t squeeze it in; if not, I’ll check it.

She continued by saying that the attendant had informed her that she would have to check the luggage and that wasn’t an option. Chrisley asserts that the attendant warned her she was being “an unruly passenger” after first demanding that she should check to see if there was space for her luggage on the aircraft.
The reality star said that because of the ruckus, a pilot intervened and allegedly instructed the attendant to “calm down” and that he would find a spot for Chrisley’s bag.
“The Southwest attendant literally looked at the pilot — the man who was flying our plane and is responsible for our safety — and said stay out of it,” she recalled.
Chrisley continued to describe the events, “Now, I’m not gonna lie, when this Southwest attendant told the pilot to calm down, I told him that there was no need for him to be an a–hole today, and then he threw me off the flight.”
“I had a 10-year-old that I had to absolutely get home to tonight,” Chrisley claimed she pleaded to the Southwest attendant. “Well, the Southwest attendant said “I don’t care.” “
She appeared to be talking to her niece Chloe, whose parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were sentenced to a combined 19 years in jail for tax fraud, and for whom she assumed primary custody. After her parents were sentenced, she also assumed custody of her 16-year-old brother, Grayson.
The Southwest employee allegedly told Chrisley that he “didn’t care if I got home to my 10-year-old,” at which point Chrisley acknowledged that she had let her rage to control her.
“I told him I hoped he discovers a greater reason for living. Perhaps I shouldn’t have spoken that, but Jesus did not leave me when the demon-possessed me, she claimed.
Later, Savannah returned to Instagram to thank the “good-looking” pilot who, according to her, stood up for her.

“Southwest, you’re terrible, but my hat’s off to the pilot who stuck up for me and was a really good-looking guy. You’re awesome. Perhaps you should switch flights, she suggested, noting that although the carrier “sucks,” the pilot was “kinda hot.”
One user responded to a Q&A she posted asking viewers to share their “crappy airline stories” during her flight, saying, “I need you to find the hot pilot,” demonstrating how intrigued her followers were by the attractive pilot.
Chrisley was assigned to a connecting flight through Baltimore despite all the fuss, and once there, she claimed she was pleasantly delighted to have the entire row to herself.
