According to a statement from his daughter Corinne Foxx, Jamie Foxx was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday due to a medical issue.
The message read, “We wanted to share that, yesterday, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication.” Fortunately, he is already making progress toward recovery thanks to prompt action and excellent care.
“We are grateful for your prayers and are aware of how loved he is. The family requests discretion at this time.
There are no other specifics available, but a TMZ insider said the incident happened Tuesday morning and “He’s communicating now, and that’s good news.”
