But sadly, by the conclusion of the evening, things changed for Tom and Zendaya.

Zendaya and Tom appeared to be extremely uncomfortable in their car as they were awkwardly pursued by paparazzi on their way out of the event in a now-viral video that was uploaded to social media.

And while you might be thinking that this is nothing out of the ordinary for celebrities as big as Tom and Z, the fact that their car had totally transparent windows — in compliance with an Indian law that forbids drivers from using tinted glass to darken their windows in order to deter crime — made the situation significantly different than usual. This consequently gave the famous pair absolutely no privacy.

It’s also fair to say that the video, which has since been discussed online by fans, clearly showed Tom and Zendaya’s discomfort.

A video of the awkward interaction was tweeted along with the message “back up off them omg? “

The expression on her countenance,I don’t know, can we just leave folks alone? Isn’t it a little unsettling to follow their car? Another author penned.

This occurs a year and a half after Tom and Zendaya both disclosed how the paparazzi had “robbed” them of their private.

When Tom and Zendaya weren’t ‘officially’ dating at the time in July 2021, they were seen kissing in a parked vehicle, which helped to confirm the rumors.

Months later, seemingly in response to the exposed photos, Tom admitted to GQ that “one of the drawbacks of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our power anymore. And a moment that you might have thought was just between two people who were deeply in love is now shared with the entire globe.

Since I already share so much of my life with the world, he continued, “I’ve always been really determined to keep my private life private. “We kind of felt like our privacy was stolen,”

Later, Zendaya remarked, “It was quite odd, strange, confusing, and invasive. We both feel the same way in that certain moments or things you wish were your own when you really adore and care about someone.

She continued, “I believe that loving someone is a sacred and special thing, and that it’s something that you want to deal with, go through, experience, and appreciate amongst the two people that love each other.
