With affection, humor, and a birthday serenade, Bruce Willis’ family is commemorating his special day!
In celebration of Willis’ 68th birthday on Sunday, his ex-wife Demi Moore shared a family video to Instagram in which everyone sings a hearty rendition of “Happy Birthday” and presents a cake with candles. The family also includes Willis’ wife Emma Heming Willis and his children.
Willis’s family joined in the cheers, and he showed signs of enjoyment by grinning and pumping his arm in the air. Then, to loud cheers and ovation, he blew out his birthday candles, followed by a chorus of “Hip-hip, hooray!”
“BW, happy bday! So happy we could honor you today,” Moore wrote in the video’s description. I adore our family and you. We all appreciate the affection and well wishes from everyone.

The family uploaded the actor’s first video since learning that he has frontotemporal dementia on Sunday’s celebration.
When Willis’ FTD was discovered last month, the family released a statement in which they said, “Bruce has always found joy in life — and has assisted everyone he knows to do the same. Seeing that feeling of concern returned to him and to all of us has meant the world. The love you all have shown for our beloved husband, father, and friend during this trying time has deeply touched us.
They concluded, “Your continued kindness, understanding, and respect will allow us to assist Bruce in leading as full a life as possible.
Frontotemporal dementia is an all-encompassing term for a collection of brain disorders that threatens the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. This implies that some of these lobes contract, and the shrinkage of these areas can result in speech difficulties, emotional issues, and personality changes.
