Pink Described Her Encounter With Madonna: "She Tried To Play Me... And I'm Not The One"

Pink claimed to adore Madonna with all of her heart, but it doesn’t appear that Madonna is a big fan of Pink.

Actually, Pink claims that the musician “doesn’t like” her at all.

On The Howard Stern Show on February 22, the “Blow Me” singer acknowledged having a difficult relationship with Madonna.

She was blunt and said, “Madonna doesn’t like me.”

Pink claimed that, generally speaking, her “polarizing” demeanor makes it difficult for people to get along with her. “Some individuals just don’t get along with me. I tend to cause controversy.

She asserted that there was a deeper cause for the tension between her and Madonna, though. “On Regis and Kelly, she attempted to sort of play me, but it didn’t work. That’s not me, “said she.

Pink continued, “She was such an inspiration to me, but it got twisted around that I was, like, fangirling and was dying to meet Madonna, when in fact she welcomed me into her dressing room. And so, when Regis called me out, I merely cracked a jest. How does it feel to encounter [Madonna]? he asks. I mean, I heard you were practically toppling over backstage. What’s it sound like? “I thought she wished to meet me,” I think. That didn’t go as planned. We couldn’t make it happen.

Pink, however, asserts that she still counts herself a Madonna fan in spite of what transpired. “I absolutely adore Madonna. I will always adore her. I still adore her, despite everything.

Madonna hasn’t commented on any of this to this point, but a few years back, she told Ellen that Pink was “cool” and that she liked her. So, yes!
