Beyoncé is now recognized as the GOAT.
Beyoncé currently holds the record for the most Grammy award wins with 32 after winning the prize for best dance/electronic music album for Renaissance.
She gave a heartfelt shout-out to her family, her kids, and the queer community in particular throughout her address.
She stated as she started her award speech, “Thank you so much. “I’m making an effort not to get worked up. This evening, I’m attempting to just receive. I want to give God praise for guarding me. Thanks be to God.
I’d like to thank my absent Uncle Johnny, she continued. But his spirit is still present. I want to thank my mother and father for loving me and encouraging me. I want to express my gratitude to my lovely spouse and my lovely children who are present at home and are watching.
The “Cuff It” singer gave a special shout-out to the queer community as she concluded her address and credited them with creating the dance/electronic music genre. Beyoncé thanked the queer community for its support and for creating this genre. “May God keep you. I’m really grateful for the Grammys. I’m grateful.

Trevor Noah, the host, was quick to react to her record-breaking victory and declare her the undisputed GOAT.
After her tearful acceptance speech, he exclaimed, “Beyonce has done it, everybody.” “We can now put an end to the GOAT debate because she currently holds the record for the most Grammy victories in history. Now it’s finished. The GOAT is who? Beyoncé is there. That’s it. No, it’s not LeBron, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, or Lionel Messi. That’s it. The task is now complete.”
Hungarian-British conductor Georg Solti, who had long held the record with 31 Grammy Award victories, was the previous record holder, which Beyoncé defeated at the awards ceremony on Sunday. Prior to serving as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s music director for 22 years, Solti was well renowned for conducting orchestras around Europe.
Beyoncé, a record-breaker, still has the night ahead of her. She has received the most nominations of the evening, nine in total, including those for song of the year and record of the year for “Break My Soul,” as well as album of the year for Renaissance.
Her first Grammy nomination came in 2000 for Destiny Child’s “Bills, Bills, Bills”; the Houston, Texas native. Beyoncé won her first two Grammy Awards the following year for the group’s smash hit “Say My Name,” which also included Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
Since then, she has appeared eight times, both with Destiny’s Child and on her own, and has received 88 nominations.
Beyoncé expressed her gratitude and excitement for the three Grammy Awards she had already received in an Instagram post she published before attending the 65th Grammy Awards on Sunday night. “Thank you so much for your love and devotion, my Hive! Big thanks for the victories for BREAK MY SOUL and CUFF IT!”
