In his long career, T.I. has dabbled in a variety of endeavors. He appeared with Denzel Washington in the classic movie American Gangster in 2007.
T.I. portrayed Frank Lucas, the nephew of Denzel Washington’s character, who decided to join the family drug operation rather than pursue a promising baseball career.
T.I. remembers the day Washington guided him through a scene and helped him deal with his anxiety in an appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast.
T.I. stated, “As we’re practicing, I’m pacing back and forth.” What’s up, n-gga, You nervous? he asked. Man, I just want to make sure I don’t mess it up, I think.
“Here, man, listen,” he said. Anyone could have been doing what you are doing right now in this room. To perform what you are doing, they could have summoned anyone right here or anywhere in the globe.
Today, T.I. is still carrying his acting bag. This weekend, T.I. and Power’s Joseph Sikora will both appear in the psychological horror movie Fear.
The characters in this psychological horror movie are a bunch of friends that meet up for a usual friends’ weekend trip at a far-flung, old motel. As a result of a potent force inside the hotel, their celebration suddenly and terrifyingly takes a terrifying turn as each of the guests must confront their own worst fear one by one. In the teaser, the group is seen discussing their worst concerns, some of which are universal.
