Lizzo has been looking for one fan who messaged the star on TikTok and asked if she could wear one of her gowns to a red carpet event.
The Special singer, 34, honored user Aurielle Marie’s request by sending her the stunning gown she wore while performing at the 2019 American Music Awards. Marie said she needed a high-end look for Out magazine’s upcoming Out100 Gala because she couldn’t find a dress that was “big bitch
“I know you know how it feels to be the biggest bitch in the room and all the scrutiny and hyper-visibility that comes with that because I’ve watched you talk about it,” Marie said to Lizzo in the original clip, according to Page Six. But the longer I go without clothing, the less I want to be there.”
She then asked the “Good As Hell” singer if she could wear the Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown Lizzo wore on the red carpet at the 2022 Emmys.
“So I said, let me make a quick TikTok because you never know what might happen,” Marie explained. “Can I please, please, please wear your 2022 Emmys dress, which is my favorite?”
While she kept her Emmy gown, the pop star was happy to send the fan her equally stunning Dauxilly gown from the AMAs, which she wore while singing “Jerome.”
“F-ck the f-k up!” ” Marie exclaimed, jumping up and down while wearing her gift, before breaking down in tears.
Marie later thanked the Love, Lizzo star on Twitter for looking out for her fellow fashionista.
“Y’all. So Lizzo… THEE Lizzo got me a gown for the @outmagazine#out100 gala. It was supposed to arrive Friday, but it arrived literally ten minutes before our flight to New York. It’s OUTSTANDING. LIKE???????? I’M SCREAMING!!!! I CAN hardly wait to show you! ”
