According to recent job listings, developer Firesprite seems to be working on a horror game with Unreal Engine 5. As VGC pointed out, the job listing was discovered by a user of ResetEra. Firesprite is currently looking for a narrative director called “AAA Narrative Horror Adventure Game in Unreal [Engine] 5”. The Narrative Director is responsible for maintaining the “structural quality of the story” and “general quality of writing” while adjusting the content to “maximize narrative-related gameplay opportunities.” At the time of publication of , it’s unclear if this horror game will be part of a larger Sony franchise or a completely original idea. In September last year, it was announced that UK-based developer Firesprite was acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), making it the 14th studio to participate in PlayStation Studios.
