Assuring supporters that “everything is OKAY,” Deion Sanders is talking about the health issue that has prevented him from playing for the University of Colorado football team and that he would be back soon.

A day after his son, Deion Jr., disclosed that Prime was missing the team’s summer camp, the Buffaloes head coach posted a statement on social media, expressing his gratitude for all of the love and support he has gotten.

“Wow, I am so grateful for all of the prayers, all of the thoughts, and all of the well wishes. Thank you so much, thank you so much.” Sanders stated.

“I can tell everyone that everything is fine and will stay that way. God has a way with me. Please trust that God has me since I still have a lot of work to do to glorify Him.

Sanders, who took over as Colorado’s head coach in 2023, stated that he is truly excited to be returning soon with his players and staff.

“When we arrive back to Boulder you will be updated on everything,” Sanders said, “Until then, I’M COMING BABY, #CoachPrime.”

Although the 57-year-old Sanders did not reveal the specifics of his situation, he did state in a May podcast interview with Asante Samuel that he was fighting something “at a whole ‘nother level.”

Although the NFL Hall of Famer has already struggled with health challenges, he seems prepared to overcome this one as well.
