All of Justin Baldoni’s allegations against Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and The New York Times have been rejected, therefore he just lost a huge battle in court.
According to new court documents obtained by TMZ, a judge dismissed the complaints filed by Baldoni and his Wayfair production company on Monday, throwing a severe blow to the Baldoni camp.

As you are aware, Wayfarer and Justin were suing the New York Times for $250 million and Blake and Ryan for $400 million, claiming defamation over a piece on the drama on the “It Ends With Us” film set. Baldoni said the report was part of a plot to discredit him.

Blake’s accusations against Justin remain valid. The judge has not yet made a decision on Baldoni’s motion to dismiss those as well.
The NYT rightfully used the civil rights lawsuit as the foundation for their piece, and the judge based his decision on the conclusion that Lively could not be held accountable for the assertions because she had included them in the complaint.
In her case, Baldoni claimed that the Times had selectively used specific emails and texts to paint him as the villain, but the court found that the Times’ reporting closely mirrored Blake’s account of events.
“The Times examined the available evidence and reported, possibly in a dramatic fashion, what it believed to have happened,” the judge decided. The Times had no clear reason to support Lively’s account of what happened.

As you may remember, Baldoni accused Reynolds of calling Baldoni a “sexual predator,” but the judge determined that this statement was also in line with Blake’s claims in her lawsuit… and Reynolds had no reason to think they were false. Consequently, the judge ruled that the remark could not serve as the foundation for a defamation lawsuit.
Baldoni’s legal team was contacted, but they had nothing to say.
