In collaboration with Netflix, BMG, and Pulse Films, and with executive production from Independent Entertainment, BMG, and Quickfire Films, Lewis Capaldi reveals the release of ‘Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now,’ a special, raw, and honest feature-length music documentary that will be available on Netflix worldwide on April 5.
The film debuts before his eagerly awaited second record, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, which will be released on EMI Records on May 19.
In this all-access movie, directed by BAFTA-winning Joe Pearlman (After the Screaming Stops, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary), Lewis Capaldi is at a turning point in his acting career. The story of a young artist who, after experiencing unbelievable worldwide success, goes back to his roots in an effort to rekindle his relationship with his old life and the friends and family he left behind is at the center of this movie.
After four years in the making, five consecutive sold-out headline tours around the world, adoring fans, and record-breaking chart triumph, the singer-songwriter finds himself back at his parents’ home in Scotland to start work on his eagerly awaited second album.

The movie depicts Capaldi’s defining year as he struggles to reconcile life as one of the biggest stars on the planet with the comforts of home, normalcy, and everything he’s ever known, capturing an intimate portrait of his distinct character, hopes, and fears in his own words. The most unlikely of popstars is actually a profoundly thoughtful and self-reflective young man who is at a significant crossroads in his life as he struggles to top the success of his record-breaking debut album. This is revealed when one looks past the popular clichés surrounding him.
“I’m pretty terrified for people to see this documentary, to be quite honest, but I’m also really proud of it,” Lewis Capaldi admitted. I trust you will like it x.
