Pregnant Sunday’s Apple Music Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show featured Rihanna’s first live performance in five years, which she delivered from a floating stage.
The Grammy winner began the high-energy performance at Phoenix’s State Farm Stadium with “B***h Better Have My Money” and then sang “Where Have You Been” before stepping onto the stage in a daring red dress and flashing her bonny bump.
“Designed to build volume in step with the dynamic scenography of the show,” according to the description of the custom Loewe ensemble.
The 34-year-old Barbadian singer delivered a spectacular 29-minute performance, her first since the end of 2018 and since she and A$AP Rocky became parents for the first time to their son in May.
The beauty tycoon sang favorites including “Only Girl (In the World),” “We Found Love,” and “S+M” while being flanked by dancers.
The following section has the exercises “Work” into “Wild Thoughts” and “Pour it Up.”
At one point, before “All of the Lights” into “Run This Town” and “Umbrella,” Fenty Beauty founder Rihanna checked her makeup in the portable mirror from her company.

Fan favorite “Diamonds” by Rihanna brought the show to a close on the floating stage as a big fireworks display illuminated the stadium.
Rihanna couldn’t have performed all of her songs in the 29 minutes because six of her No. 1 singles, including “Disturbia,” “Love The Way You Lie,” “SOS,” and “Take A Bow,” were left off the set list.
The crowd included Rihanna’s collaborators Jay-Z , DJ Khaled and partner A$AP.
Earlier, Chris Stapleton performed “The Star-Spangled Banner,” the national anthem, to start the big game.
Sheryl Lee Ralph from “Abbott Elementary” then had a performance, singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” and music icon Babyface gave a rendition of “America the Beautiful.”
In a thrilling game in Arizona, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 to claim the Super Bowl 2023 championship.
