After winning his fourth championship, Klay Thompson was thinking about the Grizzlies.
The Golden State Warriors had a successful night last night as they were able to capture their fourth NBA championship in only eight years. It was a crucial moment for the Warriors, who are unquestionably among the greatest NBA dynasties ever. For Steph Curry, it was a particularly significant occasion since he was able to claim the award that fans had been waiting for him to win: NBA Finals MVP for the first time in his professional career.
The post-game celebration was fairly large, as you can see in the Instagram photo down below, and it is clear why. With Klay Thompson having to sit out two seasons due to injury, this was a bittersweet moment for the Warriors who had been waiting for it since 2018.
Thompson appeared to be thinking about something else after the game, according to TMZ. In actuality, he was concentrating on the Memphis Grizzlies and Jaren Jackson Jr., who in March tweeted some derogatory things about the Warriors. Thomspon responded strongly to this and never forgot about the tweet.
“After the Grizzlies defeated us in the regular season, one of their players tweeted, ‘Strength in numbers,’ “And it irritated me so much, the Warriors star told reporters, Thompson. “I’m really excited to retweet that. stupid bum. I was forced to watch that and all I could think was, “This frickin’ clown.” I’m sorry; that recollection simply sprang to mind. going to make fun of us? Like, bruh, you haven’t been there before. We are knowledgeable since we have experience. Hold that, then, to be back here.
It is increasingly difficult to place a wager against the Warriors going into the upcoming season. They usually find a way to triumph, and with the majority of their talents returning, you can count on them to have an even better campaign this year.
